Jane Withers
August 14, 1949 – September 17, 2017
Jane played a major role in the founding and operation of STC Bible College. She served STC Bible College seventeen years as the director and as a classroom teacher. She also co-wrote part of the STC Bible College curriculum courses and edited the entire curriculum. Jane retired from public education where she served as an English teacher, reading specialist, lead teacher, assistant principal, and principal.
Jane has passed from this life to live eternally with the lover of her soul. Her life was dedicated to God, and she constantly pursued Him. Now, she is with Him forever. God designed this unique woman, then gave to the woman He designed the assignment of documenting the “Design of Woman.” She fulfilled her mandate with excellence when she wrote the book God’s Design for Woman. Jane was the virtuous woman of Proverbs 31 who loved to teach about Ruth, Esther, and Abigail. She exemplified the characteristics of these three women with her daily life. The life of this “virtuous woman” will continue to be expressed through the many people to whom she imparted. STC Bible College is forever grateful for all that Jane did to make this college what it is today.
