The vision for STC Bible College came to Pete Bumgarner in 1981 by divine revelation; however, it was not until 2000 that we began to function as an on-site college.

STC Bible College is a subsidiary ministry of Spirit Training Center, Inc. Spirit Training Center, Inc. received its corporate status in 1992. For years we supplied other countries and Bible schools with teaching materials. In 2000, we felt God leading us to establish a base college. STC Bible College began its regular structured classes in April, 2000.

The God-given mandate for this college is to place its emphasis on teaching the Scriptures. Although STC Bible College is concerned about excellence in education, we are not a traditional Bible college. Our focus is upon the written Word of God. We realize that peripheral teaching has validity, and we understand that God speaks to the hearts of people today. It is not our intent to minimize related studies or the spoken word of God; however, our mandate is to familiarize our students with the written Word of God.

Practically all of the teaching materials used by STC Bible College have been written and formatted into Study Guides by Pete Bumgarner and Jane Withers. These copyrighted study guides outline the entire Bible and many topical teachings gleaned from the Bible.
